Just noticed that Pakboats are now advertising their XT17 as a convertible single/double package on their website for just under US$2k http://www.pakboats.com/, so I'm guessing that a double deck should also be available separately for anyone with an XT-17 who's curious to see how much fun a 17 foot 24 inch wide folding tandem could be :D

Pakboats have now posted a photo of the double converrsion on their website. It appears from the photo that they've added extra deck flaps to the hull now, similar to those on their Quest

Yes, just looking at the photo, it appears that the XT-17 hull/deck is composed of the same material as the new Quest models. Oh, how I wish they'd have more detailed info on their web-site... :|

Previously on their website, when the XT-16 Double was available, it was noted as having over 400 Lbs capacity. I don't think the XT-17 compares. Have I missed something?
