Classic wood paddle maker

Post by ChrisO »

Just noticed this through a posting on the German faltboot.org:
http://www.paddel-schullcke.de/online-k ... -blättern/

Clicking on any of the thumb nail size images opens a larger image with specific information.
Interesting assortment, everything from the traditional "shovels" to Greenland type paddles. All are wood, and made to order. Custom stuff too.
I take that they have been doing this for a while (over 60 years), going back to East German competitive endeavors.
Maybe just the shop for an exact replacement for my Klepper white water paddle? Since I baby my "irreplaceable" original... Seriously, I don't want to ruin the blades going through relatively shallow riffles (I have switched to using a significantly less than pristine normal, but shortened, old Klepper paddle for this instead, but miss the larger blades).

Harumpf! :x
That link I gave to Schullcke does NOT give the desired effect!
So, to the home page: http://www.paddel-schullcke.de/
Then click on "Online-Katalog", followed by "im Katalog Blaettern". THAT will lead to the page with the thumbnails.
