I am new to this forum and hopefully I am not violating any of the rules. In 1979 I purchased this Folbot to spend time with my then twelve year old son. His mother had died and this was one of many attempts to spend time together. Unfortunately he like jet ski and dirt bikes better. The Folbot was in the water on time. It was cleaned and packed into its three factory containers and stored in my hangar. I unpacked it this week and it surprisingly looked brand new except for the brass fittings and brackets are a little tarnished. Three of the paddles have never seen water as our one use was to sail it. I am now eighty and find it's time to sell my toys. I am curious as to it's fair market value. I believe it would be described as in mint condition. It has always been stored in a dark environmental controlled area. Any assistance would be appreciated. I will assemble and photograph soon. You may contact me via email.

As you can tell, this is a somewhat quiet forum. Tell us your location, maybe someone here will be interested.
You can list it on ebay and see how high the bidding goes. In either case, I hope it gets care and use.

Alternatively, eighty is the perfect age for kayaking.

I will be 81 this year, time to give up my kayaks, semi recumbent trike and my walking boots, never. To give these up would lead to a quick trip to the crematorium and that would be inconvenient.
