Gone - I have a 2 person aerius, that I'd be happy to give to a new Home. The boat was put away wet many years ago by a previous owner, and about 25% of the Deck is damaged. The hull is in reasonably good condition, some very minor cracking on the center of the hull where folded (a couple of 2" long sections) and could easily be patched, or covered with a new 2 1/2 keel strip. The frame is complete, the bags are in good condition. Some minor discoloration of the wood frame in a couple of spots, but entirely sound. The Deck itself could be patched and repaired but it's more of a project than I want to deal with.

Hi can you help me. I have a klepper aures 2 i brought it off a friend and when it came to me from Canada all 7 ribs were missing i have priced the ribs at over £300 so its not worth spending that much on, but i like German things like the VW camper and it would be nice to get it on the water. I was woundering if you or any body else would trace all 7 ribs and the part they call the Boomarang which goes behined the back passinger onto wall paper. I am willling to pay for the p+p as i live in Wales UK and im willing to paying for your time.

Please can you or anyone help me thanks Dylan.

Hi Dylan,
My recommendation would be to look at and search for Aerius parts. These things regularly come up, part frames and whole frames, and probably you'll find that some of the sellers specialise in 'faltboot's (i.e. folders) and can be rung up and asked to look for your missing parts. There are far more of these things available in Germany than in the UK and I am sure that will be your best opportunity to find missing parts at a reasonable price.

If you don't speak German google translate will help you understand adverts, while any German shops selling things on may well speak or write good english.

Good luck.

Klepper US can order a deck, but I don't think they have actual repair facilities. Long Haul can replace a deck on your hull, too.

easy enough to replace then. where are you located? assuming shipping from that location isnt murderous, I might be interested.
