G’day all

I’m in the middle of planning a recreation of the operation Jaywick paddle as September will be the 75th anniversary of that ww2 commando raid. We are taking a bunch of modern Australian and British veterans including a couple of double amputees and raising money for a couple of organisations that work with veterans including the special air services trust.

We were going to use kleppers to more closely recreate the raid, but our source of kleppers has run out and we are struggling to find a suitable replacement in Australia or Singapore.

Do any forum members have any contacts they could share where we might be able to hire 5 double folding kayaks?

Thanks in advance for any help

Marty

For all those interested, we're going ahead for the 75th anniversary of Operation Jaywick.

Here's a report that appeared on Sky news for those interested in folding kayaks and military history
