Howdy, Been Yaking for 5 1/2 years. On my second Yukon. I paddle S. Fla 3 days a week. Just looking to keep my boat on the water, now that the mothership has left us.

Welcome! Where in S. Florida do you paddle? I have spent quite a bit of time in the Everglades, Keys, and on the Intracoastal between Palm Beach and Delray which, to me, are some of the best waters in Florida.

Best,
g

I've been paddling Folbots since the 70's, mostly on rivers, but also ponds, lakes, swamps, ... Anyplace with enough water to float, paddle or poll.

I like to take a couple of "wilderness" floating/camping trips every year when I can.

Here is a link to an awesome trip down the Green River a short stretch of the Colorado in Utah.

Over the years I have accumulated five Folbots, in various states of repair and disrepair.

Two Sportys (Pieces single) - my favorite "old" Folbot
Two Super Rigids (one is a clone with the skin and aluminum bits purchased from Folbot back in the 80's).
A Big Glider with sail that needs a skin.
I also paddle a couple of plastic kayaks, a whitewater inflatable kayak(duck), and a little sailboat.

Welcome Folboters. AnnR and I are in the Everglades, along with our Folbot Fleet, every winter. Perhaps we'll run into you at the Flamingo Campground.

Welcome Frank,
Hope you will find this new home for Folboters to be as useful as the old one was.
