Hi from Germany

Post by mooeep »

Hi,

Searching for a more active Forum than the German foldingboat one I happened to end up here.

I've done a few multi day Trips in rivers/lakes in Germany over the past couple years and ordered a Trak 2.0 quite a while back, so we'll see when and if I have a boat to myself ;)

But to keep up the anticipation I thought it might be nice to read and discus a bit.

Cheers

Welcome. Good to have more Europeans in the group. There's a few of us here. :-)
I look forward to hearing more about river and lake trips in Germany.

Welcome aboard!
It posts ebb and flow on this forum, but it is a wonderful resource.

Welcome to this side of the pond. Where in Germany are you located?
Unfortunately this forums is a bit slow as well, but it is worth joining!
"Yakadoodle" ...I had to come up with some name since Steve already stole my name!

Thanks for the Welcome. I currently live in Osnabrück so there is not much water nearby. On the other hand it's not that far by train to get to Mecklenburg where it gets a lot better :)

Well...according to google maps you do have those canals through the town and the one out by the old airbase, but they do not look exciting!
Everything else is farmland and trees...which is not a bad thing. :)
