I came across this, it appears to show a source of sponsons for various Klepper folders:

http://www.zoelzer.de/content.php?Produ ... ubrik=132#

Are there any other sources of these or similar? The Klepper website doesn't seem to show anywhere they sell sponsons for their kayaks.

With Folbot and Feathercraft out of business it's perhaps getting harder to source these?

I've emailed zoelzer.de, will post back if I have success on this.

OK, edit to add, Long Haul have sponsons available, I'll contact them to see if I can get a set once I figure out the various lengths.

Thanks for the links, Ian It looks like the German site may have sponsons about the right length for other makes too. I wonder if either they or Longhaul do custom sizes for other kayaks, particularly with the current situation at Feathercraft

I'd like to know lengths /circumference / diameters of the various sponson options from Longhaul. Their website seems to lack information as to the basic dimensions of their kayaks as well, or am I not looking properly?

Edited to add:
Ok, I see now, I was looking at the Mark II stretch which lacked dimensions, when I look at the Mark II it is 518 x 91 cm, a Mark I is 483 x 71cm.

It looks like the Mark II sponsons might be what I need for the longish single I'm working on.
