There was a post on here last year about a Klepper tent. Here is the link:

There is a also a YouTube video of one:

Though both of those are apparently much larger than yours if the one you have only has 3' walls. Maybe a photo or two of the tent laid out on the ground would prompt more feedback. Can't really tell from the bag what you have. Maybe it is their Nanga Parbat Spezial model?:

That site has a lot of cool images of vintage Klepper (and other) tents:

Besides folding kayaks and sailboats, Klepper of Germany made rubberized rainwear and the canvas tents that were used by many Himalayan climbing expeditions, especially the German teams who tended to concentrate on peaks in the Pakistan Himalayas rather than those in Nepal. German expeditions to Nanga Parbat and K2 used them. I think they stopped making tents in the 1970's or 80's but I am not certain.

One low point in Klepper's over 100 year history is that they had to shift production from 1939 to 1945 from making consumer goods and boats to making rainwear and tarps for the Nazi armed forces.

If you've broken a metal part you can often get a reproduction made by a metal fabrication shop. Check with any local car shop that builds race cars and they can tell you who in your area can make metal parts to order.
