Yesterday, returning back from a day paddle in Kahuna, I saw 2 inflatables in the bay (Deep Cove). Don't know what model, but they were real inflatable kayaks propelled by standard kayaking paddle, - not some elongated bagels with attached bottom. They attracted my attention by unusual colour (orange) and movements unusual for a kayak, - short and jerky ... Every time the guy made a stroke on one side, the kayak went in the direction opposite to that side. They were in protected small bay inside the bigger fjord. Never seen any of them in open spaces in local waters father than 200-300m off shore. Or at the end of that long fjord - some 16 km from the put-in, not a long distance, but often against the afternoon wind blowing into the fjord (pressure release).
