Sawtooth

Post by tsunamichuck »

I picked up a Sawtooth last August and have been using in quite a bit the past couple months. Took it on a trip to Portland, Or and Seattle last month. I am pretty happy with it. Cruises pretty well for an inflatable. Packs under 50 lbs for air travel but it is a pretty bulky package. Not the greatest for public transit. It does take on water as it is self bailing. It is a pretty dry ride but I get wet roof racking it. Paris The Parson Russell Terrier seems to really like it, she will lie down it as well as straddle it when paddling. Pretty well made. A bit more maintenance with the zippers and bladders than the Innovas. Pretty happy with it.

And look, Aire is bringing back the 'II' in red, 15' in 2020!
I had The Boat People's Trinity II version of this kayak - it was great!
