Hi all

I was inflating my AIRE LYNX II this morning and noticed that the centre chamber was losing air at an incredible rate. I unzipped the outer shell to reveal the bag and noticed the problem. What is there seems to be a manufacturing fault where there are two attachment points into the same bag. One is in use and is where the inflation hose was attached on the other side of the outer shell. The other was hidden and allowing all the air I pumped into the chamber to escape. I also found a small piece of plastic and rubber that looks like it's part of a broken valve.

Why questions are: has anyone seen this before? What is it? A fault? What should I do to fix it? At the moment I'm at a loss as to how I'll be able to cover up the hole.

Edit: just noticed the image I attached to this post isn't there. It is:!AnAX4Moiu_ZxlN5ligJOdF8_nTjQWA.

Have you contacted Aire about the problem? Your boat looks pretty new from that one photo. I would take it up with them -- if it's a defect in the construction I would think that they would be willing to talk to you about some kind of repair or replacement.
