Bronze Washboard Bolts

Post by Yakadoodle »

I found these bronze carriage bolts to be the same dims as the bolts for the washboards.
You just have to cut/trim/grind off the sides of the head to make a T-bolt. From McMaster-Carr, a package of 10 is $10.29 in June 2020 prices.

Also, Knobs can be found here. These are 3 arm knobs with brass inserts that come in phenolic or polyproylene.
Think I'd choose the polyprolene as it has more impact resistance. the go for $1.20 each.

A follow up on these. I saw that Sailyourkayak web site has them as well, but in stainless steel for $14.00 for a pack of two, ready made.
