Does anyone know what was in the Folbot Hull Cleaning Kit for Hypalon hulls? I have the kit, but they don't have any sort of description as to what they are. The two bottle kit will only go so far. I either need to figure that out, or find some aftermarket option that would work in a similar manner. I was looking at various things in the automotive cleaning aisle at my local big box store. Thoughts?

I'm guessing it was some kind of cleaning agent with some type of protective (UV) film to wipe on. With hypalon you don't have to get too involved. Rinse the hull with plain water or with a mild soap, dry it, and spray 303 all over and wipe dry. 303 on hypalon works really nice, giving it a wax-like sheen and protecting the hull from premature UV damage.

The only down side of 303 is that nothing will stick to it.
Field repairs would be next to impossible.
The Folbot cleaning kit didn't have that problem. Duct tape would stick.

I wonder if any one has tried Tenacious Tape on a 303 treated hull.
Or any of the other, new super adhesive stuff.

SEE/try. RIB/ inflatable boat cleaning set by RIBRIGHT. You get cleaner and protector which is made for hyperlon, pvc, and pu fabric. But i wouldn,t use it on cotton decks with out testing. I have used this set on my hulls and the finish is great, just like the Folbot solution used to leave it. I bought this in the UK but it might be available in the US. I havn,t tried sticking tape to it.They also have two part adhesive made for hyperlon, but usually these adhesives can,t be sent internationally.
