I've bought a second hands AE-I and enjoyed paddling in Japan.
Unfortunately one of her tiny part called 'T-Stück' has been broken and there are no dealers in Japan.
Is there anyone who kindly send this to Japan?

I can use a PayPal for the payment or send a Japanese stamp or other your favorite something....????
Thank you!

Shige

You may try and order it from http://www.longhaulfoldingkayaks.com/ - shipping costs could be same as from Germany, but Longhaul parts are usually cheaper than from Klepper.

I suppose, this is the one you need

http://www.kleppershop.de/index.php?pag ... Itemid=149

Why don't you try the Klepper online store on the above link?

Yes,this is exactly what I need.
Of course I've contacted them but no reply for a while.
But I've received their quotation yesterday.
Maybe I'm very Japanese.....too hasty!
Anyway thank you Mr.vangelis.

I have found that these "t,s" twist forward and the back rest will then not go upright and i changed mine on one of my boats for that reason, probably caused by me not sitting correctly, i got them easily from the klepper dealer in Calgary Alberta Canada.

Those T's that I had on Longhaul boat were stainless steel, looking exactly like the one in Klepper online shop in Vangelis' link above. They can probably brake (not easily), but I didn't think it could twist.

This is the broken mine, seem to be the silver-plated brass.
The stainless steel seems to be better.

Old boat. Not sure if Klepper is still using brass screws, but Longhaul has all screws stainless, so (probably) their T-part is stainless too. Email them again with message heading "Klepper parts". Some emails are deleted in spam filters, or the company doesn't have time to read it. Telephone is better.

Did you ever get your part?

I have a kayak dealer nearby that has lots of Klepper parts. Let me know if I should check for this one next time I'm down there.

I could send it very easily.

Dennis
