Any good reason to buy another kayak other than POUCH RZ85-1

Post by Irikos »

Hello everyone,

So far I've been in two expeditions in the Danube Delta, around 4-5 days on water each, with Pouch RZ 85 1 and 2. I love both kayaks, liking 85-1 more than 85-2 because 85-2 is made of laminated wood.

I'm mainly looking for the biggest available folding kayak (without considerable downsides) with all the classic advantages of being foldable. Main objective is one-week-on-water expeditions, without resupply options (thus, carrying a lot of water and food). What other options are there, at a reasonable price (up to 1k euros?

Also, I'm going to ask this on the Pouch topic, but any ideas on 85-1 vs 85-2 vs 85-3?

Thanks!

I can’t think of an alternative in your area at that price. I’ve used, and like, Pouch boats.

I have a Greenland in Montenegro with upwind sail kit, etc., which I use less and less these days, because of all my other boats. If it was going to a good home, I might be persuaded to part with it.
